More darkroom work.

This image was an experimental layering of mylar with ink on it  over the fiber paper, this blocked the light from reaching the paper and gave it the illusion of a form.

As Raw as it Gets! Images from the Dark.

Here is the first of my character realities. I developed these rolls last week for my darkroom class. 
Dufaus and Charlotte are partners in solving mysteries. One of the main mysteries they are trying to solve is Charlotte's death; she is a ghost. 
These are my first attempt at character realities . Basically it is a concept of complying characters that don't publicly exist yet.

I would divulge more but that's just a taste of whats to come. If you try and get any more details from me I'll pull a River Song; "spoilers."

Quick update

Thought I'd leave  a picture here. It's a picture of my friend Lauren. We were rallying against  the state budget cuts to education.

Atttempts at the Vintage

There  is an effect I've seen around; the vintage effect.  I wanted to try and see what my images would look like with this effect applied to it. These are the results of me testing and trying different effects. I may try white balance bracketing, combine the layers and see if  that might produce a similar result but until then this is my record and sequence on my attempts at vintage.

A one in the morning concept.

So I am just about to sign off and go to bed when I get this crazy idea: make a still life concept about how much I love tea. So I got my gear and  played around with flash, light meters, a poor mans reflector and photo shop to create these following images.

I finally got Photoshop and I'm  in Florida for Christmas right now enjoying some time with my boyfriend and his family. Tomorrow we are going to the beach, then the rest of the week much more will be happening. The  following 8 images are pictures I've taken the last few weeks. Back... well sort of...

Well the computer whoas are solved... except I need to get photoshop again. I have a few images to share, they have all had post production and all from my final project. Photo's from the past two weeks will arrive  as soon as I  get all the software back on the computer... so enjoy and have a merry start too the holidays.
P.S.
I'm going to be going on a trip in Florida  in a few weeks from now, so expect some shots warm weather to make winter  feel  a little more liveable.
